2023 Calendar & Nightly Rates

As you probably already know, Derby Week is very expensive in Louisville.  For almost 10 years, we have rented our home/s to people and companies coming for Derby, including several owners of horses running in the Derby or Oaks.  Normally, simply groups of friends wanting to share the experience choose to rent large homes vs staying in individual hotels.

Derby Rates & Taxes / Select PGA Events

We rent our home for a minimum of 3 nights at Derby.  Derby is always held the first Saturday in May each year.  2023 and 2024 Derby is now available for rental.   Our Derby Rental is a minimum of a 3-night stay at $8,500 per night for Thursday-Friday-Saturday weekend of Derby ($30,000 for a 4-night stay).  If renting longer than 4 nights ($30,000) a few days prior to and after those dates, the extended rate is $2,500 per night over the above rate. 

Taxes and Fees - In addition to the nightly rate, there are fees, including the required collection of lodging taxes imposed by the county @8.5% plus $600 Prep/Laundry/Cleaning Fee and $150 Administration fee.  Also, Derby is the first week of May, and both our pool and hot tub will be heated to enjoy during your stay. 

Non-Derby Rates

Outside of Derby and a few other selected non-annual events, such as any PGA tournament, our standard nightly rate is $2,000 to $3,000 per night, 3 night minimum.  However, some special vacation times, such as Christmas and Thanksgiving Week bookings have a $3,000 per night rate.   

Lodging tax of 8.5% applies to all rentals
Prep & Departure Cleaning Fee also applies to all rentals

Some dog breeds may be considered, but no more than 2 and Pet Fee applies

Pool heating fee of $250 per stay outside of Derby stays (pool heat included)
